I didn’t know that King Piccolo still retained his memories from his time as the Nameless Namekian. I thought only Kami kept them.

I also like the contrast between Kami and Piccolo’s visits to Yunzabit heights. Kami became the guardian of Earth and tried to gain more knowledge on his origins, rejecting his own worldly desires of abusing that position of power once he split apart.

King Piccolo, now in possession of the Nameless Namekian’s rejected worldy desires justifies his origins as being above humans and wants to ruthlessly oppress them.
