Yeah, I know the disctintion was never clear... but I'll use the A for Androids (machines with human form) and C for Cyborgs (humans with cybernetic parts)

Unless Bulma &/or her father made Yamcha a Cyborg in U9, then it would seem that Gero and possibly the rest of the Red Ribbon Army get reformed into being a good guy(s) instead of Piccolo Jr, who doesn't exist.

That or Yamcha ends up like C17 & C18 in the sense of not obeying the good doctor's orders.
