Go Yamcha! I honestly wasn’t expecting him to have learned the technique this early. I guess getting to train with Korin earlier than the original story, plus Master Roshi’s AND Master Gohan’s advanced training really paid off. He has to be at least near Goku/Tien’s level in the original 22nd Budokai.

I’m also surprised Master Roshi is aware of the Sokidan. He’s surprised Yamcha mastered it. Perhaps Roshi tried to use it before, but could never quite grasp it?

Could be, but for me this is a 100% Yamcha´s techinique. A few pages ahead you´ll understand better Roshi´s remark.
