The original Ryu Ranger appears in the original seventh Super Sentai season entitled "Gosei Sentai Dairanger". It was released in 1993 in Japan. This is Ryo of the Heavenly Fire Star of Fire and leader of the team as the Red Ranger. Portrayed by Keichi Wada.
