presentation of Jisuk

Jisuk Cho was born in Seoul, South Korea and is currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Somewhere in the middle of all that, Jisuk went to the School of Visual Arts in NYC and managed to pry a BFA in Animation out of the chairman's trembling, reluctant hands.

Does anywhere know where I can find that (I think) one page piece by Jisuk Cho for Fishbones where they were talking about how scary Demos was, and they’re all: “I wonder what he’s thinking” and then it cuts to him, and he’s just sitting there with his coffee cup like “This coffee is so good I could kill someone.”

I can’t find it anywhere, and I would be super thankful for anyone who could send me in the right direction. Help?

Do you mean this?

(the handsome fella in the back is Remy’s character, Dominic)

The Fishbones Kickstarter has been launched!

Fishbones was a labor of love. It was only with the support of friends and followers that it managed to be completed and every one of you has my deepest gratitude. Printing the book itself is the last step in this project and I hope that you will be as excited to hold it in your hands as I am.

Any reblogs or support will be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!

FORTY EIGHT HOURS aaaahhhhh home stretch! Everyone who has pledged — I love you so much!

Sorry if you have already answered this. But, after the kickstarter will Fishbones be able to be bought? I want to support you and your work, but right now it appears that I can't with the kickstarter. So I would like to be able to later :)

Reponse:

Yes, you will be able to buy the book afterwards! Just two notes, though — you won’t be able to get a signed book and they will cost a little more. Sorry about that and thanks for your support!

Hi! I just finished reading the comic and the first 20 chapters of "Fishbones" and I super love it!!! It might be too early to say this considering that I haven't read the whole story yet (can't wait for April), but I do hope you'd write a sequel. Also, congratulations on achieving your goal on Kickstarter!

Reponse:

Ah, thank you so much! You’re so sweet! Thanks for taking a look at Fishbones and I’m thrilled you’re enjoying it.

Classical Fishbones

Here is a collection of the classical music used in the Fishbones novel. Below I’ve listed the tracks, as well as which character plays it (and when). The pages and chapters apply to the newly edited book (which no one has seen yet) so they may be on other pages in the old version. Hope you enjoy it! (and thanks Yapi for helping me out)

Song List
Bach - Partita No 2 | Violin played by Ferris in Ch 9, pg 67
Dvorak - Romance Op 11 | Piano/Violin played by Demos/Ferris in Ch 13, page 92
Bach - Air on the G String | Violin played by Ferris in Ch 14, pg 104
Erik Satie - Gymnopedie No 1 | Piano played by Demos in Ch 28, pg 210
Vivaldi - 3 Violins | Violin played by Ferris in Ch 42, pg 308
Pachelbel - Canon in D Major | Violin played by Ferris in Ch 42, pg 309
Chopin - Fantaisie-Impromptu | Piano played by Demos in Ch 50, pg 365
William Bolcom - Graceful Ghost Rag

Note: The last song, Graceful Ghost Rag, isn’t mentioned in the book but it’s something I imagine Demos and Ferris would play together.

Yapi asked for a scar reference (maybe a spoiler, sorry), and also Ferris in a vest, so I killed two birds with one stone.
