The Fishbones Kickstarter has been launched!

Fishbones was a labor of love. It was only with the support of friends and followers that it managed to be completed and every one of you has my deepest gratitude. Printing the book itself is the last step in this project and I hope that you will be as excited to hold it in your hands as I am.

Any reblogs or support will be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!

Two weeks left!

grapegoat replied to your post:Thanks!

Bookmark would be cute! (Also have you considered doing another crowdfund publish for Karasu, when it’s done? Because that would be awesome @w@ )

Thanks so much! Ah, Karasu is like .000001% as popular as Fishbones so I honestly don’t know if it would be successful if I tried. :(

In order to fund new short stories, I now have a Patreon account.

I will still be posting works online, but without support, my ability to creates these works is extremely limited. Patreon allows a simple $1 to support their and collect them in a place where I can directly interact with you.

I really appreciate any support you can offer. Even if you can’t support financially, reblogs will also be a signal boost. Thank you!

Thanks!

Gyyeeee! The Fishbones Kickstarter has reached over 100 backers and $4,000 — thank you! I really didn’t expect this so I’m super grateful and honored you guys like my book! Thanks also to the wonderful people who reblogged the original post.

Someone earlier asked if I will be making stretch goals. Because this is kind of print on demand and more sales = more costs, I won’t really have a lot of extra money. But! I was thinking I might put up a Fishbones Novel website where it can be read for free (like Karasu) or maybe including a PDF of Karasu with every reward? Or… draw a bookmark and include it with every reward? What do you guys think?

If you read one novel this year let it be this one. I have been in love with this one for years. Jisuk is incredibly talented in the arts and her writing is phenominal. It’ll make you bawl like a baby, laugh so hard your ribs hurt, experience such rage you want to break things. You can’t help falling in love with the characters as if you know them in person. Do yourself a favor. She’s met her goal on Kickstarter, but you should still buy a copy, even if it’s the digital copy.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m honored you think so!
