Just to follow up from Michael's question on the last question, this is the entire RAWRtacular 'toolkit'!
On the base is an A3 water colour block weighted at 180g (woodfree for aome reason).
On top is my trusty metal rule (who's traveled the world with me), standard eraser, 0.5 mm HB (2) mechanical pencil, and last but not least a Faber Castell PITT inking pen (which is my poormans alternative to a Japanese 'Maru-pen')
In the middle of inking the next Back Office page.
I tend to ink from the right and then move left. This is due to me being left-handed, and not wanting to smear the ink. Although I use India-Ink, which is quick drying, I still like to take this precaution anyway.
This page also sees the return of me using mechanical pencils for penciling. I hadn't done it for many years, and I'm not certain why I stopped. Will be using mechanical pencils in future I think :D
Project day! This week I do part of a commission piece for Clarke Stevens. It's a 'Lemon Zoro'. He'll be a the first of a series of characters for a potential promotional piece :D
Ah shipping, the wonderful tradition of pulling character relationships out of nowhere. Is such a thing happening between Mike and Karen? Well, you’ll have to read further to find out (because I’m a jerk that way )
