Dans le cadre du concours Manga creative days organisé par Fotolia et Digital Artist, j'ai réalisé ce photomontage. Pour cela, il fallait piocher dans la banque d'images fournies gracieusement par Fotolia et « créer votre personnage Manga sur fond de Bande Dessinée». Oui, ce qu'il y a entre guillemets est très obscur. Un perso "manga" implique déjà qu'il provienne d'une bd... bref, ce qu'il faut comprendre ici, c'est que l'on joue à fond le cliché "manga" chez les occidentaux, à savoir : des éléments provenantde la culture japonaise, des yeux bridés, des grands yeux, de la sf...

Birth of stars

The girl is the mascott of the group. She's giving life to stars. She's sitting in a field of Poinsettias (called "Xmas stars). They are red flowers.
Frame is done in Mucha's style

Watercolors, pencils on A4 paper; many hours of work.

I'm sorry, the copy done via scan hasn't got the right colors. I tried to change it for a better looking, but it's not the same as in real.

Done at the beginning of may 2011.

This is a witch, calling a small fox by showing it a butterfly... I wanted to draw a witch that looks traditional like in many tails : ugly, old but nice.
