i have had some pretty bad writers block lately, and haven't written anything of good quality for the past half year, so i took up poetry. it actually turned out pretty well. so i will be doing a mixture of poetry and short story's.

the guard walked in with a young boy in chains. the guard threw the boy down in front of the queens throne and stepped back. as the young boy looked up, the queen spoke.
"we meet again, Emmett, my son."
"the day you turned evil was the day i stopped being your son."
the queen stood up and walked down to Emmett and took his face in her hands and turned it to the light, examining his many cuts and bruises.
"look at you Emmett, at what you’ve done to yourself."
" you did this to me, you and your army."
" wouldn’t it be much easier to just give up, and join me, we could rule the world together, and all your loved ones could be safe." she said, ignoring Emmett comment.
Emmett looked interested for a moment, then laughed.
" as if that would ever happen, all you want is destruction, and as for my friends, you would kill them in a heartbeat."
the queen looked furious, then relaxed.
"very well then, you shall serve the rest of your days in the dungeon!"
and then the guard grabbed Emmett and led him away out of the throne room.
