I don't think Yamcha is strong enough to survive the explosion. One must be significantly stronger than the explodee for the explosion to not be effective. Chewys' says he firmly believes Nappa was 8,000 at this point in canon, not 4,000 so that put him at around 12x stronger than Chiaotzu. Yamcha is at 4,000 here and the Saibamen should be around 1,200, so a little more than a 3x difference. I think the Saibamen would still be enough to kill Yamcha though with enough time left after for maybe some final words.

Oh... I still think such an iconic scene should be here - maybe thats what it'll take for Yamcha to become a cyborg - he may survive the explotion but be on the brink and only Gero's manipulation will save him from death - seems like a good explanation why the others would go with it... oh - right - senzu beans... well - never mind the whole comment then

Was it even shown that Yamcha and Roshi have Senzu Beans on them at the moment? Also what possibly could Dr Gero do on such short time to save Yamcha? I know Gero is a great scientist and all, but I don't think anywhere in this series or the main series have we seen anything that stops someone a few seconds away from death from dying.

As for getting Yamcha to go Cyborg, that likely will happen come around the time when Cooler becomes part of the story on Earth or Namek if circumstances cause them to have to go to Namek in this story (I forget if the preview stuff showed any scenes on Namek).

Pas mal ce kamehameha, Evidemment Nappa n'aura presque rien et se paiera la tête de kamé sennin, celui-ci sera surpris et déconcerté puis Nappa s'attaquera directement à lui. Il va devoir tenir le coup jusqu'à ce que Yamcha revienne à lui.

Chewys, ¿cuál es el poder de lucha actual del Maestro Roshi? Me gustaría que muestres esto para poder caucular con los multiplicadores, después de todo Kamehameha multiplica el poder por 2.5X, es la forma de Poder Máx. Multiplica por 1.5X y con este poder multiplicado, el Maestro Roshi debería tener el mismo poder que Nappa o muy cerca de ese derecho?

Roshi rondará las 2.500 unidades más o menos, eso usando su poder al 100% cálculo yo. Lo suficiente para matar a los saibamen fácilmente, pero dudo que le haga daño a Nappa. Yamcha rondará las 5.000, quizás sea suficiente para plantar cara a Nappa hasta que lleguen los demás...

So the one being destroyed here is not the one lying by Yamcha then? Interesting.. Edit. oh yeah i kinda forgot that Saibamen can open their heads to shoot that acid thing, so when Roshi shielded Yamcha from the two of them, he didn't kill neither of them. My bad
