Jude always gives him a second chance and yet he clearly feels conflicted about him - at this point not because he betrayed them a few times; he always forgave him afterwards, but for what happened in Hamil. He can’t forgive him now because he shot at Leia, but I think in his heart he already has - look at Jude’s face when Teepo yells at him not to let Alvin come with them. Such a soft sad smile ; A;; the contrast to his former serious face is so good.
s-so yeah I drew this inspired on Hamil and how their relationship progresses from there on. Guilt/Thoughts about Jude hating him are exactly what I needed for Alvin’s character development, gdi. Becoming so attached without planning to.
Also the fact that he looks at him walking away while saying that quote and smiling really really terribly sad as well makes me so emotional. But who am I kidding I love awkward angst.
