El episodio 8 de Shimoneta me ha parecido un reflejo del peligro en el que empieza a meterse la sociedad con la corrección politica. En el episodio, los comites de moralidad usan una nueva estrategia que consiste en preguntarle a los estudiantes que cosas consideran deberían ser prohibidas, para así añadirlas a la lista de cosas prohibidas directamente. El resultado es que se empiezan a prohibir las cosas más estupidas, desde cuerdas a pelotas de ping pong a redes de voleibal, porque siempre hay alguien que las considera suficientemente ofensivas como para ser prohibidas.
I have found Episode 8 of Shimoneta to be a reflection of the danger our society is going into with political correctness. In the episode, the moral comitees begin a new strategy, they ask students for things they consider should be forbbiden, and they add those automathicaly to the list of forbbiden things. The result is that a lot of stupid things become forbbiden, from ropes to ping pong balls to voleyball nets, because there's allways someone who find them offensive enought to be forbbiden.
