Is this the point where you'll have U3 and U9 diverge for the stories of their Earths? U3 King Piccolo survives and U9 he's dead? It does look like this chapter is about to be over based on the lengths of previous chapters. Or will he survive in both right now?

Yes I already know their different outside of Earth, but obviously as of now they are the same on Earth. That means something must happen differently on Earth that makes it to where their stories for Earth are the same seeing as in the tournament they are very different for Earth too. U3 has King Piccolo in charge still and in U9 the humans seem to have done something for themselves to the point where they have powers on par with U18 human Z Warriors still if not greater than U18 human Z Warriors.

ebilly 15/07/2017 08:16:07Universe 9, Piccolo isn't dead, gets up and hears the Sayians have landed in East city. Forgets the worm Tien, heads there and is killed. Kami dies and Krillin and Yamcha head to Namak to bring him back.
The timeline for that is still off. It's 4 years or so too early for when it happens in U18. Also with U9 Cooler having killed Goku, what reason do the Saiyans have to go to Earth? I mean I guess they go there for some reason, because the U9 Earthlings know of the Saiyans and hate them, but there must be a reason for it. I imagine it still wouldn't happen yet.

Mmm... more like 10 years from now if we go by U18 timeline:

3 more years to the tournament where Goku fought Piccolo Jr.
5 more years to Raditz appearence...
So, saiyans are in the very distant future... or not?
So you're Saiyan that King Piccolo arrived earlier than he did U18? I thought things had been following the timeline of U18. I didn't even notice that things were happening earlier here. That means King Piccolo appeared a good 3 years or so earlier here.

Chewys 16/07/2017 14:57:15That's why Piccolo blew them and why we only saw one Budokai so far. Things are following U18 timeline, except fot Piccolo's release.
And of course as a result all of our heroes are stronger than their U18 counterparts at the same age. Not counting with Goku is pushing their limits (they had already climbed Karin)... they are all around Goku's level when he came down the tower and defeated Tao.
About the reasons of Piccolos release: Pilaf released him earlier, because he saw no way of defeating the Red Ribbon, and thought they'd conquer the world first. Plus they had killed Shu, and that also had an emotional impact on him... i wanted to explain all this reasons through Pilafs words in the comic but i forgot
I see. You may have forgotten to include the reasoning earlier on. Maybe at some point you can fit it in as a flashback. Would that work?
