Finally I reach Chapter 4 of Bata Neart, and another new redraw project.
It is kind of interesting to be back at Chapter 4, as I had drawn it 5 years ago as a sort of 'Standard Quality' that I would follow throughout the rest of Bata Neart and my work in general.

But in the past 5 years, the amount of practice I've had has resulted in a noticeable jump in skill. Thus the last page of Chapter 3 I drew a few weeks ago, ended up much better looking than the start of 2007's Chapter 4.

And so, in order to bring the artwork up to date, and to also correct some more continuity errors (you'll notice that 2007's Ashling has shorter hair than 2013's Ashling) I'm redrawing the whole chapter page-by-page.

Thankfully though, I still like the layout of the original Chapter 4, so many pages will be very similar (with only a handful of new pages). So this project *should* be a lot easier than the Chapter 3 re-draw which added a whopping 15 pages to the original story run!! Hoping not to do that again too soon :D

In the image you will see the original 2007 page on the left and the 2013 page on the right.

Urg...I'm currently getting lost in reams of IRS forms. I'm currently setting up my Create Space profile, and it seems that I actually need to obtain a US Tax Number(!) to publish and earn royalties from my upcoming book Back Office Vol1.

I'm sure I'll probably get through it all, but the IRS' instructions sheets are the longest most convoluted form descriptions I have ever seen!

I think I'm beginning to understand why Americans dislike the IRS :D
