Such funny attitudes Megane has ! Love the interaction between her and Mineshaft. I may be wrong, but I'd say "i'm beginning" instead of "I begin" (as it is a unique moment and not something recurring for instance every morning), but you'd better check with a real native english speaker because i'm not.

"I'm beginning" or "I am beginning" would be the proper way.

Also, I would recommend changing frame 4 to "a mage staff" or "a mage's staff"
