Kyonshi, Yamcha's past and some panels from next page were all taken from Dragon ball Elsewhere, a great fancomic by RMK.

Ι approve and support what Chewys said, KYONSHI (not Kyonishi :P) and DBZ: Elsewhere are one of the best fan-mangas out there that have to do with out favorite desert bandit.

It is by far one of the best DBZ fanmangas, it is worth a ready by everyone.

Elsewhere can't be canon in Universes 3 and 9 because Goku exists in Elsewhere. However, similar events to Elsewhere can happen here but without Goku's presence, which means that the amazing fight between Yamcha and Goku won't happen here. And Yamcha won't have nightmares about being mortally injured by the androids because he is much stronger here and that will never happen
