Did Bulma not noticed it was dr Gero? She knows how he looks like - recognized him in dbz while they were following him to his labaratory - so how could she let him take away Yamcha just like tahat?

Yeah, i know 30 year old Bulma knew him, since she was a scientist and knew fellow scientists.
But 20 year old Bulma still hasn´t seen Dr. Gero´s face in any cientific magazine, so she didn´t know who he was
