emaciated-barbie:

dont you ever, EVER call a girl fat or chubby or thick or big boned or large or meaty or anything like that because you’ll forget seconds later but she will remember 10 years later when shes throwing up her lunch in the toilet, your name, where it happened, what the weather was like, the time it happened, and exactly what you said. and it will haunt her for the rest of her life.

This is a really sad post for all the wrong reasons. I get what is trying to be said, but no one should be able to be broken down so easily, by comments by another person. Girls should be empowering themselves, finding self worth, not heeding everything a person says and reacting. We would all crumble if this were the case. Yes it is true, you should not say negative things about others. But we should be reinventing the word fat, it is not a bad word that should make people feel bad. Some people are fat and love it, if you called them fat they would be happy to hear it. Fat is not a FLAW. This post makes me really sad at the frailty of girls constition in society. Girls, it doesnt matter what people CALL YOU, it matters what you are. Be independent, strong and self assured. Please…
