Wow, this is awesome. This has a feeling of Ursula Leguin mixed with Dungeon and Dragons and Star Wars, Just so so so so nice.
Also Major is talking like a true conqueror, much like Pizarro did taking rival tribes against the Aztecs to conquer them all, or like the U.S did when invading Afganistan or Irak more recently. A true army man there!
