Are you confused with the point of view of this story? Are you trying to figure out the identity of the narrator? You won’t have much longer to wait, I promise you. My tirade is drawing to a close. At least I didn’t start out with “The sky was a beautiful shade of frosty blue.”, right? I don’t need to set the mood for something that doesn’t exist, at least not yet and not for you. Should I leave you with an implicitly life-changing quote that is likely to reach down into the depth of your very soul and speak to it in its native language? Ah, sarcasm. No, but in all seriousness, the triteness of it all is almost sickening to cynics like me.

That’s as good an ending as any.
