The Wind Rises

Hello! Here is my entry for The Wind Rises contest! This is my first time entering any contests on dA and also my first time drawing anything by Miyazaki. I love love love his works so much, so I was surprised to realize I've never drawn fanart for any of it before. Super duper last minute, but it's because I didn't realize this contest was going on until this morning! I tried to draw Miyazaki style, which was really hard for me. I also tried to keep it simple, like his style. I believe simple is best!
