-1246 Aegeus abdicates the throne in favor of a council of sages. Birth of the first republic of Athens. The care of the temples is entrusted to the Pythia, known as Saintias. Their eldest is Medusa, daughter of Phorcys and Ceto.
-1243 Poseidon begins to equip his warriors, the Marinas, with indestructible scales. His warriors, the Marinas, attack the cities of Attica and throughout the Mediterranean, one by one.
