The lore you construct and piece together in your story with the many MANY dropped threads in the original work is beyond satisfying to see unfold for the long Dragon Ball fan in me. You make every abandoned Dragon Ball story bit matter and be meaningful in satisfying ways, making the base universe so much more interesting in the process. It's like the original work breathes a second life and that just makes it SO much more engaging to me than all those lazy retcons and tacked-on lore Dragon Ball received in the past decades.
