presentation of Jisuk

(on the previous ask topic) I'm not sure if ravens do it, but pet parrots will preen their owner's hair to show affection :3

Reponse:

Aahh I’ve seen photos of that! It’s the cutest thing. I think Kana would prefer if he used his hands, though, haha!

[[How do Karasu show signs of affection, given that they can't really kiss?]]

Reponse:

I am glad you asked that! The answer is… BILLING.

Unfortunately this will probably never come up in the story because if he tried to do it with Kana he would just end up whacking her in the face.

Went to the Ueno Zoo today and of course, out of all the proper animals available, I took the most photos of this handsome fellow.

Hi hi :D I know you are overseas still, but do you think you'll ever sell at another convention again? I really enjoyed meeting you! I wear the pins I bought from you frequently!

Reponse:

Aaahh, I’m really not sure! I don’t have any plans to do so and my visits to the states will probably be limited to seeing my folks for Thanksgiving. I did have a lot of fun at some cons, though, so I hope to someday table again! Thanks, by the way, glad you’re enjoying the pins!

[[There are some bird species that can see Ultraviolet light... Can your Karasu do the same? And if so, what do they call that color?]]

Reponse:

That’s an interesting question and something I haven’t considered. On one hand, it would be a fun thing to include and would have the potential to liven the plot. On the other, complex eyesight detracts from the brain’s ability to think cognitively as more brainpower is devoted to the visual center, which would otherwise be put in the frontal lobe and oh my god I’m going to stop talking now. They’re magic fantasy creatures what am I saying.

What do you think? Is it something you’ve written into your tengu?
